ABOUT BCW
Blue Collar Weaponry was built on decades of machining experience, hands-on problem solving, and the belief that high-quality firearm products should still be accessible to working people. Backed by Paragon Machine Co., BCW controls the work from manufacturing to finishing and assembly, giving customers and dealers a direct connection to the people who actually make the product.
WHO WE ARE
Blue Collar Weaponry was created around a simple idea: make high-quality firearm parts and systems for people who care about how things are built, how they perform, and what they cost.
BCW is not trying to be a luxury lifestyle brand. The focus is on practical products, fair pricing, direct support, and real manufacturing capability. The team develops products around platforms they believe in, then continues building into those platforms as new ideas take shape.
At its core, Blue Collar Weaponry represents the people who build, repair, manufacture, fabricate, and keep things moving. Billy describes blue collar workers as “the backbone of America,” and that mindset is built into the brand.
THE ROOTS
Billy Wright grew up around machining before Blue Collar Weaponry was ever an idea. His father served as a machinist in the Navy in the late 1960s and later owned a machine and welding shop beginning in the late 1980s.
Billy worked in that shop from a young age, sweeping floors, learning from the machinists and fabricators around him, and eventually working alongside the same people who held him to the same standards as everyone else.
It was an old-school environment built around manual machining, welding, heavy fabrication, equipment repair, and figuring out how things worked rather than simply replacing them. That experience shaped the way Billy approaches manufacturing today.
He later worked as a fabricator and as a CNC programmer and machinist in aerospace before starting Paragon Machine Co. in 2014.
PARAGON MACHINE CO.
Paragon Machine Co. began in 2014 after Billy and an engineer he worked with in aerospace started taking on outside manufacturing work. For roughly six months, they worked both their day jobs and the new business until Paragon had enough work to support the move full time.
Paragon was built as a job shop, manufacturing parts for customers who either lacked the equipment, capacity, or internal capability to produce them themselves.
That model has remained intact. Today, Paragon specializes in CNC milling and turning, works across a broad range of materials, and has manufactured thousands of different products for industries including reloading, heavy equipment, aerospace, and more.
WHY BLUE COLLAR WEAPONRY
The move into firearms came naturally. After bringing a machinist with deep firearms knowledge onto the team, Paragon began manufacturing parts for its own use. That eventually developed into designing and producing an original product line.
BCW began around 2020 with suppressors, then expanded into smaller components where the team saw demand and supply gaps. The product strategy has stayed deliberately flexible ever since.
Rather than forcing the brand into one narrow niche, BCW tends to choose a platform, develop useful parts around it, and keep expanding until the platform becomes a more complete system. That approach is visible today in products like the Splinter chassis platform, suppressor mounts, muzzle devices, and the next generation of chassis and receiver-related products now in development.
THE BCW DIFFERENCE
BCW’s biggest advantage is not just that the products are American-made. It is how directly the company controls the process and supports the people buying from it.
All BCW products are manufactured through Paragon. Parts are machined in-house, quality checked by the Paragon team, and then finished, coated, assembled, inventoried, packaged, and supported by the BCW team.
That direct structure gives BCW several practical advantages: in-house manufacturing, custom manufacturing capability, small-batch flexibility, direct dealer support, lower-barrier ordering, and pricing designed to keep products accessible to both dealers and end customers.
BCW products are manufactured directly through Paragon.
Customers and dealers work with a small, responsive team.
The team can support shorter runs and changing demand.
The goal is strong dealer margins and more affordable parts for the end customer.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
For Billy, “Blue Collar Weaponry” is not just a name. It represents the people who make things, fix things, build businesses, operate equipment, and keep industries moving.
That is the customer BCW has in mind when it develops products: people who want quality without unnecessary hype, products that make sense for how they actually use them, and support from a team that takes responsibility for what it sells.
The brand may continue expanding into new suppressor designs, chassis systems, frame and receiver manufacturing, and other categories, but the standard stays the same: real American-made products backed by people who are directly involved in the work.
FROM THE FOUNDER
BCW and Paragon were built through years of machining, long days, hard lessons, and a willingness to take on work other shops might avoid. In this interview, Billy talks about the background behind the businesses, how BCW developed, and what he wants customers and dealers to understand about the company.
Blue Collar Weaponry is backed by the same people, equipment, and manufacturing capability responsible for the products themselves. Whether you are shopping the lineup, building a Splinter, looking for service work, or interested in carrying BCW as a dealer, you are dealing directly with the team behind the brand.
